Sanctura medicine should not be taken by patients who have or are at risk for any of the following conditions: urinary retention (inability to empty your bladder), gastric retention (impaired ability to empty your stomach contents), an eye problem called "uncontrolled narrow angle glaucoma," or an allergy to Sanctura or Trosec or any of its ingredients.
Sanctura Side Effects:
The most common side effect associated with taking Sanctura Tablets (Also known as Trosec in Canada) is dry mouth, constipation and headaches.
Other uncommon side effects with reported by patients taking the medication Sanctura were worsening of preexisting constipation, upper abdominal pain, stomach upset, gas, inability to empty the bladder, dry eyes and fatigue.
The recommended dose for Sanctura tablets is two 20 mg tablets a day. One Sanctura Tablet should be taken in the morning and one tablet of Sanctura taken at night.
Sanctura/Trosec should be taken at least one hour before meals or on an empty stomach.
