Trinovin is formulated from red clover (biological name trifolium pratense). As well as being an approved foodstuff, red clover is a legume that is one of the richest sources of isoflavones found in nature. Red clover contains all four most important isoflavones that are present in Asian, Mediterranean and Latin American diets, namely biochanin A, formononetin, daidzein and genistein. Trinovin is standardised to contain 40mg of isoflavones.
The positive effect of Trinovin depends on the individual's underlying problem and the response to any dietary intervention may take some time. Trinovin may assist relieving the symptoms of medically diagnosed BPH, such as urinary frequency, urination at night, weak or broken stream and straining to urinate. Ensuring adequate levels of isoflavones in the diet should be a long-term approach to ensuring healthy and normal function.

DHT is produced from testosterone by the enzyme 5-alpha reductase. DHT is a potent form of testosterone and binds to receptors in the prostate resulting in prostate enlargement.
