Effects - How it works in the body

Parsitan belongs to the family of an antiparkinson or antidyskinetics drugs also known as anticholinergics drug and commonly used for the treatment and relieves of muscle-rigidity, restlessness, and stiffness in your body. Parsitan is used to treat Parkinson's disease, sometimes known as shaking palsy. Parsitan is works by improving muscle control and reducing stiffness, this medicine allows more normal movements of the body as the disease symptoms are reduced. The exact mechanism of action is unknown, but Parsitan is believed to help increase the release of certain neurological chemicals that improve control over movement. Parsitan works by acting on the central nervous system. Parsitan blocks cholinergic receptors in many parts of the body including the brain. It is used in the treatment of Parkinson's disease and to reduce the side effects of certain anti-psychotic medicines. Dopamine is a chemical substance found in the brain, which is known to be deficient in people with Parkinson's disease. Normally, there is a balance between the level of dopamine and another chemical called acetylcholine. A fall in the level of dopamine results in too high levels of acetylcholine. Therefore by blocking acetylcholine receptors with Parsitan, this balance can be restored. Parsitan is most effective at reducing the tremor and rigidity associated with Parkinson's disease.
