LEUKINE® (sargramostim) is indicated for use following induction chemotherapy in older adults with acute myelogenous leukemia (AML), after bone marrow transplantation, and before and/or after peripheral blood stem cell transplantation.

How is Leukine Supplied:

Liquid Leukine is available in vials containing 500 mcg/mL (2.8 x 106 IU/mL) sargramostim. Carton of five multiple-use vials; each vial contains 1 mL of preserved 500 mcg/mL liquid Leukine

Lyophilized Leukine is available in vials containing 250 mcg (1.4 x 106 IU/vial) sargramostim. Carton of five vials of lyophilized Leukine 250 mcg

Leukine should be refrigerated at 2-8°C (36-46°F). Do not freeze or shake. Do not use beyond the expiration date printed on the vial.

 

Drug Overview

Leukine belongs to the family of drugs known as an antineutropenic drug which is also known as hematopoietic stimulant group of medicines and commonly used for the treatment of those people who suffered to the problems of neutropenia.
