Frequently Asked Questions
1. How does your Online Pharmacy service work?
Canadian Drugs Wholesale is an Online Pharmacy that provides wholesale prices on safe, inspected prescription
drugs. Our Internet pharmacy is based in British Columbia, Canada and prescription drug orders are dispensed through a Licensed
Canadian Pharmacy. We offer generic and brand name prescription drugs and OTC medications at discount prices. Need to talk with
someone? No problem. Call us and speak with one of our friendly Customer Service Reps, or if you like, you can speak to one of
our pharmacists. We will answer all your questions in regards to your medications, medical health, and/or about our
company. We can even obtain copies of your prescription (Rx) from your doctor. You just need to make one call and we will take care
of the rest!
2. How competitive are your prices?
Canadian Drugs Wholesale is a wholesale supplier. It’s hard to beat our prices, but if you do find a lower price for
the exact same product, then call us and we will match that price. When comparing our prices to our competitors, please keep in mind
that we provide FREE Shipping* and no hidden charges.
3. Why are prescription drugs and OTC medication so affordable in Canada?
Due to a national health care system, the Canadian government regulates the pricing of prescription drugs and medications.
This limits and restricts drug companies on how much they can charge. For this reason, most Canadian prescription drugs are priced
much lower than those marketed in the US. The quality of the drugs is every bit as good as in the US. The Canadian government also
encourages generic companies to produce substantially cheaper generic versions of brand name drugs, and so generic variations of
brand name drugs become available much sooner in Canada then they do in the USA.
4. How long will it take to process my order?
Once we have received your order and prescription(s), our Canadian doctor reviews and co-signs them and then sends them
back to our Canadian pharmacy. Generally speaking, orders are shipped out of the Canadian pharmacy within 7-10 business days
-- provided there are no unforeseen delays. Once the order is shipped, you should receive it within 3-5 business days. Sometimes,
packages are inspected by US Customs and this can result in delivery delays of another 5-10 days. Canadian Drugs Wholesale highly
recommends that you order your medications at least 4-weeks in advance so that you don’t run out. You can track the status of
your order by logging onto our website.

5. Do I need a prescription (Rx) to order medications from Canada?
Yes, a valid prescription from a licensed physician is required for all prescription medications ordered -- just like your
local drugstore. OTC (Over-the-Counter) medications do not require a prescription. Our licensed Canadian physician will review and
co-sign your prescription(s).
6. Is it really necessary to fill out a health profile form?
Yes it is. To ensure your safety, our Canadian doctors and pharmacists need the information on the form to better evaluate
your health history and medicine needs. The form also allows them to check for drug interaction problems if you are already on other
medication. Please remember to always inform your doctor of all medications (prescription or OTC) you are taking because certain
drugs should not be taken together.
7. How safe is the personal information I provide?
Canadian Drugs Wholesale will not share, rent, trade, or sell your personal information to any outside companies. Any
personal and medical information you provide to us via our website, in writing, or over the phone will be held in strict confidence
and cannot be accessed or used except for the sole purpose of completing your order.
8. Will you accept my medical insurance?
Unfortunately, at this time we cannot accept your insurance. There are some insurance companies which may reimburse you
for the prescriptions you get filled through a Canadian pharmacy so check with your plan administrator. Canadian Drugs Wholesale can provide receipts/paperwork you may need
to serve as proof of purchase, and we will be happy to contact your insurance company on your behalf.

9. What are Generic drugs?
Generic drugs are chemically identical to Brand name prescription drugs except for slight differences in appearance, but they
cost substantially less. Think of them as medications that are the bio-equivalents to brand name drugs. A company which first
discovers and markets a drug, gets a "patent" for it, and is then the only company that is allowed to market that
drug (aka Brand Name). After a period of time, usually 5 or 10-years, the drug patent expires and other companies are allowed to
manufacture and market the exact same drug at lower prices -- these are referred to as Generic drugs.
10. Are generic drugs safe?
Yes, absolutely. Due to strict regulations on the Generic drug industry, these medications have been tested and proven to
deliver the same therapeutic relief as their Brand name counterparts. The reason Brand name drugs are so much more expensive than
Generics is because the manufacturers of these drugs are trying to recoup their costs and make as much profit as they can before
their "patent" runs out. Millions of people worldwide have been using generic drugs safely and effectively for years and saved lots of
money in the process. Canadian Drugs Wholesale makes these same Generic Drugs available to you.
11. How do I pay for my order?
Canadian Drugs Wholesale accepts all major credit cards, personal and certified checks, and money orders. However, Visa is
highly recommended because the funds withdrawn from your account will be in US dollars. For all other credit cards, funds
withdrawn will be in Canadian dollars. Your credit card will be charged using the billing day's exchange rate. Your bank may also
charge extra on top of the exchange rate. Note: If you pay by personal check, it may take us longer to process your
order due to check clearing delays.
12. Is ordering online via the Internet safe?
Yes, it’s safe to order online through our website. All information you provide online is accepted through a secure shopping
cart. Our website is tested and certified daily by the HACKER SAFE security system… it prevents 99.99% of Internet identity theft
and credit card fraud from occurring.

13. What if you don't carry the products that I’m looking for?
If you cannot find what you are looking for on our website, please contact us. If the medication you need is not currently
available in Canada, one of our licensed pharmacists will contact your doctor and seek that doctor’s authorization to supply you
with medication that is the equivalent of what you ordered. Some drugs are also sold under different names in different countries,
for example, Prilosec is called Losec in Canada. If your doctor authorizes the change, then we will ship it to you; if your doctor
doesn’t authorize it, then we will not be able to ship it to you. We will also try and source your medication or its equivalent from
our worldwide network of registered, licensed pharmaceutical wholesalers.
14. Can I transfer a prescription (Rx) from my local pharmacy?
Prescription transfers are not allowed. We must have a faxed copy of the Rx or the original prescription from your doctor.
However, we can contact your doctor and obtain a fax of your Rx for you.
15. Will the pills I receive look differently than the pills I get now?
The pills you receive from Canadian Drugs Wholesale may look different if they are manufactured by a different drug
company. Generic drugs may look different because most drug companies choose to have different "fillers" (non-medicinal
ingredients) in them. These "fillers" may change the color or flavor of the pills but not the potency. Generic pills contain
the exact same chemical ingredients and will work the same way as their brand name counter-part. If you order Brand name drugs then
they should look almost the same because they will have been manufactured by the same drug company.
16. Do I need a prescription for Over-the-Counter (OTC) drugs in Canada?
Over the counter medications do not require a prescription. All of our drugs are categorized as either prescription or OTC
so that you can easily recognize which medications require a prescription and which don’t.
